The Pizza Dance is much more than just pizza and dance… It is a ritual, a symbol of peace that unites people in the same way all its ingredients are united. Festive red disk …pizza is made with your hands and enjoyed with your soul.
For over 20 years, “The Pizza Dance” has been in our community and committed to supporting, engaging and directing families and children to change their life path. We invest in our children and their future.
The Original Pizza Dance was created by Tony Modica in 1997, the creator and founder of the Pizza Dance Foundation as well.
Over the years there have been mentions, videos and publications related to the Pizza Dance in major newspapers and television programs.
“Break Bread” with Tony Modica & “The Pizza Dance” has helped us spread a message of love, peace and unity around the world through music and dance.

Our Mission
Arriving from Italy as an immigrant in the 1970s, Tony Modica has succeeded in the United States in the restaurant business, particularly in pizza making.
For Mr. Modica, pizza is an international symbol of unity because due to its various toppings and loveliness it is enjoyed by all cultures and is definitely the most popular food in the world.
He was able to encourage people to action to support a single message of respect and appreciation.
The “Pizza Dance Foundation” is a means for him to give something back to the community through a charity program to benefit the elderly and youth, promote unity and cultural appreciation with free public activities. The goal is the recovery of learning and motivation to study of children of educational and material poverty and at risk of school dropout.
With the cooperation of the schools, after school hours, students and adults are offered pizza and a lesson on pizza making, money is donated to purchase musical instruments or any other needs.
A program that includes singing, dancing, and pizza is a wonderful experience for all the people who attend because pizza is the favorite food of both adults and children. Everyone loves pizza!
